Arsenal have reportedly been given an injury scare as they receive news about Alexis Sanchez’s health, the Chilean picked up an injury while on international duty in a match against Paraguay.
Luckily for the Gunners, the problem is not as serious as it was proved to be, Arsene Wenger will be preparing to welcome back the Chilean International to the squad later this week, as they will be playing against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.
Sanchez, is said to be a doubt for Chile next match Bolivia on Tuesday, although the Medical staff are hoping on the forward to push through his pain barriers in other to continue his international duty.
It was brought to notice by freelance injury analyst Ben Dinnery on his twitter page tweeting:
However, he said the ankle injury isn’t thought to be serious, that the Chilean international might be featuring for his country this week before playing for his English club by the weekend.
The 28-year-old forward who has just 12 months left on his contract with the Gunners, he was linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium throughout the transfer market, and that alone raised question marks over his future at the North London Club.
The news would’ve been a serious blow to Wenger following their embarrassing start of the 2017/2018 campaign, losing to Premier League contenders (Liverpool fc and Stoke city).
Having remained at Emirates for the time being, Wenger will look to Sanchez to take the team back to their winning glory, as he scored 30 goals and providing 19 assists in 51 club appearances in all competitions.
