Aston Villa will have an excellent opportunity to create a substantial advantage over Arsenal in the fight for the fourth place in the overall standings by beating them on Boxing Day. Villans are already three points clear of Arsenal and this match will be a real test for Martin O’Neill’s side.

Arsenal failed to beat Middlesbrough last weekend and this match will show if they have what it takes to fight for honours this season. Liverpool stayed at the top even though they made quite a few slip ups but the Reds will have to win this match if they want to stay top of the pile.
